Tomorrow's Instruments Today

Electronic Instruments 2 XT is an exclusive collection of cutting-edge instruments that take full advantage of REAKTOR's advanced engine technology but run completely independently. The instruments can be used both stand-alone or as plug-ins, and offer the user complete freedom to innovate, experiment and express. Some of the world's leading instrument designers have produced 8 ground-breaking synthesizers, drum machines and effects quite unlike any others – a true taste of tomorrow.

With or Without REAKTOR For the first time ever, the potential of REAKTOR is available for everyone – regardless of whether you own REAKTOR. Instruments overview:

PHOTONE - Hybrid Master Synthesizer
This polyphonic powerhouse redefines the standard for Reaktor synthesis. Photone boasts an extensive array of special features, including custom oscillator types, flexible control over filter routing, vintage analog drift and detuning emulation, and advanced modulation options

LIMELITE - Advanced Beat Composer This masterpiece is definitely one of the most exciting and advanced drum machines and beat composers ever created! Combining powerful sequencing options, a huge bank of samples, and an awesome array of effect processors, Limelite takes the beat-box concept to a whole new level.

METAPHYSICAL FUNCTION - Unique Soundscaper
Far more than 'just another' synthesiser, Metaphysical Function offers a truly engaging audio/visual experience with a vast and unique sonic palette ranging from beautiful soothing tones to dark, disturbing soundscapes.

KRYPT - Granular Drum Machine
Krypt is a loop generator quite unlike any other. In essence, it consists of a programmable granular sampler wired to a six-channel sequencer with an intelligent pattern generation algorithm. It is capable of generating polymorphic beats that are simply unheard of.

AKKORD - Sequenced Chord Generator
Akkord is a hybrid additive / FM synthesizer that creates chord sequences, arpeggios, shimmering pads, delayed synth and deep bass lines, subtle harmonic rhythms, ambient textures and even drum grooves. It's the perfect instrument to add evolving harmonic structures and arpeggios to your rhythm tracks.

RESOCHORD - Polyphonic Resonator
This powerful resonator imprints harmonic structures onto any input signal – including percussive sounds with no existing harmonics. It consists of 6 feedback units, each resonating at a different frequency, generating rich and luscious chords, which can be played via MIDI.

FAST FX - Advanced Performance Effects
A combination of six unusual effects that can turn any track into something really special - by slicing, filtering, gating, looping and "freezing" the signal in unspeakable ways.

Fast FX features a special 'live' snapshot system – which makes it perfect for live performance.

CYAN - Extended Vintage Chorus
Cyan is far more than just a high-quality chorus unit. It offers many new and exciting sound-shaping possibilities and advanced features such as tempo-synchronisation and extended delay modulation control.
