The Mural band is a large symphonic string band with 16 1st Violins, 14 2nd Violins, 12 Violas, 10 Cellos, 8 Basses. Each section is recorded in-situ and is can be controlled totally independently within the collection.
This volume features a carefully curated selection of articulations that get you everything you need to start writing with Great British strings.
Articulations include Longs with controllable levels of expression and vibrato (including specially recorded non-vib articulations). Fully functional fingered legato. Con sordino or muted longs again with controllable expression and vibrato. Haunting harmonics, and flautando. Tremolando, longs sul ponticello and short articulations including, spiccato, pizzicato, snapping bartok pizz and col legno.
