IK Multimedia T-RackS CS Complete v4.7 [PC / MAC Versions]
World-class mixing and mastering plug-ins — on demand.
Close your eyes and picture a store full of cool processing gear: compressors and limiters are in a rack over here, EQs are over there – tube, solid state, digital – you name it, this store’s got it all. There are reverbs, de-essers, multiband processors, and a shelf full of vintage emulations. In short, a candy store of tone for recording musicians, engineers, and producers.
Just a gear geek’s fantasy? Nope, this store is very real, and it’s available to you 24/7. It’s the new T-RackS Custom Shop, where you can browse a huge collection of IK’s high-quality processing plug-ins for mixing and mastering, and purchase only the ones you want, when you want them. And the best part is, you can get started without spending a dime by downloading T-RackS Custom Shop.
Gear, gear and free gear
Download and install the T-RackS CS application and once launched, you'll notice a couple of cool things.
Plug-in
First, you'll find that you already get two pieces of free gear just for being you. You can’t beat that deal! You get the Classic Equalizer module, a 6-band parametric mastering EQ that’s part of the T-RackS Classic bundle, and we’ve also provided you with the T-RackS Metering Suite, which contains a host of useful and detailed displays including Peak, Perceived Loudness, Phase, and RMS meters, plus a Spectrum analyzer with Peak, RMS and Averaging indicators. Both the EQ and meters can be instantiated as separate plug-ins in your DAW, or as part of the integrated T-RackS shell, which features 8 plug-in slots, and allows you to chain up to 12 processors.
Second, if you're working in your DAW, you'll notice that ALL of the T-RackS processors have been installed. To use a processor not previously purchased or demo'd, simply select it as a plug-in on your channel strip. You'll be asked if you'd like to visit the custom shop to activate the demo period of 14 days — that's right, fully operational for 14 DAYS — or purchase the processor. If you choose neither option, you can still use the processor, but it makes intermittent noise during playback. Pretty slick. You can also now purchase T-RackS processors in Currency ($ or €) or Gear Credits for your convenience so you can get back to doing what you do best: making music.
You can also run the T-RackS integrated module as a standalone program, from which you can master your mixes. Whether you’re running standalone or as a plug-in, the Custom Shop can be accessed from inside of T-RackS simply by clicking on the "Custom Shop" button near the lower right corner of the window.
Once you start browsing the Custom Shop, you’ll see that we’re offering high-end processing software at amazingly low prices. By shopping for software this way, you can customize your processor collection to suit your production needs, and you can’t beat the convenience: the T-RackS Custom Shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
After you activate the Custom Shop, you’ll see all the modules and collections that we have available. The gear lineup continues to grow, so make sure to check back regularly.
Available T-RackS processors: the gearaholic's closet

Our newest additions are 3 EQ-Preamp modules: the EQ P50A (Discrete Proportional Q 3-Band Equalizer and Preamp), the EQ P50B (Discrete Proportional Q 4-Band Equalizer and Preamp) and the EQ P60G (Discrete Proportional Q 10-Band Graphic Equalizer and Preamp).
EQ P50A
The EQ P50A is based on one of the most revered discrete circuit designs world renowned for its bold and punchy "American" sound, whose core is the custom 2520 op-amp. Thanks to this sonic excellence, it became one of the most used classic EQs in every A-list music production, from the '70s to present day. Its twenty one carefully selected frequencies and proportional Q design of the three bands are guaranteed to deliver nothing but musical results. This simplicity is one of the key elements that make it particulary suitable to become the "go-to" equalizer for the majority of tone shaping chores. On top of these outstanding features the added preamp section (based on another design of the same legacy) will add another layer of harmonic complexity, either in subtle shades or in thick, hard clipped distortion.
EQ P50B
The EQ P50B shares the same circuit design and custom 2520 op-amp core as its brother, the EQ P50A, but for increased flexibility it sports a fourth band. This, in conjunction with the overlapping of the two mid bands allows a greater deal of control over the midrange part of the spectrum; it's the right ticket for carving the sound of midrange critical tracks like electric guitars, pianos, strings and so on. The same proportional Q design found on the EQ P50A is meticulously reproduced here, meaning that the boosts or cuts of the EQ bands are broader at lower values, becoming sharper as the gain is pushed towards the edge of the range. Pairing this with the harmonic complexity added by the onboard preamp stage makes for an incredibly wide palette of tones.
EQ P60G
The EQ P60G is based on the same custom op amp of the other two "P series" equalizers, but instead of the parametric bands it uses a ten bands graphic approach. This results in some variations, but still a great tone. By boosting or cutting several bands, the frequency response or tone of any track can be radically altered. The proportional Q design of the ten bands makes the bandwidth broader at lower values, getting sharper as the gain is increased (or cut). The graphic nature of this module makes it very easy to understand the "tone shaping" curve applied to a track at the very first glance. This enormous flexibility is augmented by the switchable on-board preamp stage whose additional gain will have the filter bank react different making this module more than a simple equalizer, pushing it ahead into new sonic territories.
